LS Geomorphologie


In meiner Forschung, untersuche ich geomorphologische Prozesse, die die Erdoberfläche formen. Dabei arbeite ich auf einer Bandbreite zeitlicher und räumlicher Skalen, die von detaillierten Untersuchungen von Verwitterungsprozessen im Labor bis zu Monitoring von Felswanderosion in hochalpinem Gelände reichen. Meine Hauptforschungsthemen fokussieren auf Erosions- und Sedimentationsprozesse beispielsweise durch paraglaziale Anpassung während und nach Gletscherrückzug und periglaziale Massenbewegungen beeinflußt durch den Klimawandel. Dabei wende ich ein breites Spektrum von Forschungsmethoden an, under anderem geomorphologische, geophysikalische und geotechnische Feldtechniken, physikalische Labortests und entwickelte theoretische und physikalische Modelle.
