We have a new colleague at the Chair since January 2026 – a warm welcome to Albert!
Albert Cabré is the new postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Geomorphology. He is a geologist specializing in geomorphology, with a particular focus on arid regions. He studied in Barcelona (Catalonia) and completed his PhD in Chile. Albert has experience studying extreme erosion events in the Atacama Desert, both on contemporary timescales and at geological scales. His expertise includes the use of remote sensing to characterize surface changes, as well as sedimentology, geochronology, and other methods to understand landscape evolution.
